Open Day was organized at Beaconhouse Kindergarten II Campus, North Nazimabad to celebrate ‘Universal Children’s Day’. It was a beautiful Saturday morning. The school was transformed into a playland with splashes of colours everywhere. The stage was set high for the performers bearing a bright eye-catching backdrop and a beautiful balloon display. Several stations were set up with thematic games ready to host the visitors. Children were smartly dressed for their big performances and their spirits were high backstage. Teachers and staff were motivated, delighted and eager to welcome the guests. It was indeed an eventful and colourful day for all.
The event was opened with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Visitors were formally welcomed and were briefed regarding the Open Day activities. Then it was time for the highlight of the day, the ‘Zumba Presentations’. Children enjoyed expressing themselves on stage and were cheered by the audience. Visitors and children experienced the concept of learning through play while visiting various stations. Young chefs could be seen quite engaged at cupcake frosting station whereas, little Picassos were engrossed in the Art area. Children were very creative at the Potter Wheel and were equally enthusiastic in the gaming zone. Later on, children also enjoyed a drive-in movie. Visitors also took several pictures with friends and family at the photo booth to create everlasting memories. Parents and children played, laughed, sang and ate and enjoyed quality time with each other. They were awarded with an impressive souvenir on the way out.
Playing with children is fun. It gives ultimate joy and satisfaction. We look forward to hosting several such events for parents and children in the near future.
