JOCOSE BARREL
School and fun are generally associated with students; however, JTC Boys took an initiative to involve parents in fun-filled activities, where they became a child again and cherished entertaining ventures. Beaconhouse Johar Town Boys Campus organized JOCOSE BARREL, an open house for BSS and non-BSS parents as JTC Boys believes in strengthening the connection with parents and the outer community to build a strong social and emotional learning environment.
‘JOCOSE BARREL’ was filled with exciting and fun-filled activities for BSS and non-BSS parents on Friday 17th December. A large number of parents registered themselves to be a part of this exhilarating event as this was the first grand opportunity provided to them to have an insight into the school teaching and learning environment in the post-Covid world.
The major purpose of the JOCOSE BARREL was strengthening the ties while uniting “WE” and “THEM” to be as “US”. Various entertaining activities such as Math Quiz, Mushaira, Arm Wrestling, Art Contest and Musical Chair were arranged for parents as it was their day to have fun and live their school life once again. The school offered parents an avenue to witness innovative teaching and learning practices in Lower Primary and Primary Sections. The winners and participants of the Art contest, Arm wrestling, Mushaira, Math Quiz, Musical Chair and Fun Games were awarded with certificates and souvenirs. We made sure that our worthy guests take away with them our token of gratitude which will keep on reminding them the cherished memories.
The thrill, energy and exuberant involvement of parents were praiseworthy and contributed towards the success of our event. Parents were highly appreciative of the event and the school administration. It was indeed a day of respite for them where they not only witnessed the live teaching but lived their school life once again.
The event was a great success and was highly appreciated by the parents. They admired the meritorious initiative taken by the school administration and rejoiced in the event to the fullest.
