Beaconhouse School held a Cultural Day celebration to honor Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage. Students depicted Pakistani diversity beautifully; ‘Pakistan; a country of many cultures’ by showing the different cultures found in Pakistan. Students were dressed up in cultural attires. Students represented the diversity that exists in our homeland. Children displayed the cuisine, the popular music, languages and dances celebrated in each province.
The girls set the stage on fire by singing most popular folk songs, which moved the audience to come to the floor. Every single face showed their love for their province by dressing in traditional outfits of that area, the students talked about the traditional foods eaten there, musical preferences and styles and important literary figures such as poets and writers. Students enjoyed the event thoroughly as they played various cultural games. Thus the day came to close with laughter, merriment and joy of colors at the campus.
