BSS NNPII celebrates Sports Day 2021-22

Academic learning and sports education complements each other. They resemble the two sides of the same coin. Keeping the balance between sports education and academic curriculum enrich students’ personalities and  refine them to be the better version of themselves.

Sports education not only teaches the students to maintain the physical stamina, but also the habit of compliance, discipline, the determination to win and will power.

Returning to the customary routine post Covid-19, BSS NNPII celebrated the mega event of Sports Day 2021-22 on 9th December’ 2021.

Theme of the event this year was United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that create awareness and sustainability regarding  Resources, Society, Environment and Economics.

Beaconhouse School System has embedded these Sustainable Developmental Goals in the curriculum as a framework and tool to support students develop their research, critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills.

School Headmistress Incharge Ms. Aisha Haseeb along with our energetic first graders and honorable guests cut the ribbon and officially inaugurated the event.

Along with track events, students performed Yoga, Gymnastics, Taekwondo, and a specialized Band Display. Students participated enthusiastically in all the activities and thoroughly enjoyed.

BSS that Our society is competitive, and we should teach our children to function well for competitions. As we believe in either winning or learning with absolutely no concept of failure, all the participants were presented with trophies.

In the end, grade VI and VII contested in Dodge the Ball and Tug of War respectively, and exhibited prodigious energy to claim the title.

Parents, students and all the staff appreciated the event profoundly and the efforts to make it a success were applauded deeply.
