“A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart!”
Beaconhouse Junior Campus, Peco Road celebrated World Teachers’ Day on October 5, 2021, along with schools in many countries around the world. This is a day to honor teachers and celebrate their contribution to educating the children of the world. The day started with a special assembly organized by the students of Grade 1. The teachers were welcomed in the assembly area with a huge round of applause and amidst loud cheers. The students read thank you notes for their teachers, presented songs and spoke of their love for their teachers. They were very excited to present chocolates and sweets to them. The students of the Early Years presented hand crafted cards to their beloved teachers. The teachers were over whelmed with all the love coming their way and the joy on their faces was a sight to behold. The students continued to display their fondness and admiration for their teachers by presenting them cards and messages throughout the day.
The Teachers’ Day Ceremony concluded with a special barbecue lunch arranged by the school head. She thanked each staff member for their contribution and presented special commemorative medals to the teachers as a symbol of appreciation to celebrate this special day.
