Public speaking is a skill that gives Beaconites an edge over the others. Therefore, Beaconhouse encourages its students to participate in various English and Urdu debate competitions. The competition was hosted by the Elementary Campus, Gulshan and the topics that were chosen for the debate this year are as follows:
class III: Homework in primary school should be banned.
class IV: Social Media has taken over our leisure time.
class V: Students under 12 should get their personal gadgets.
Hassan Ahmed of class IV secured the 2nd position and and Najdah Ali Haque of class V secured the 3rd position from Primary V Campus, Gulshan. The confidence and style of the students was appreciated by the judges and the audience.
