Chess is a game that makes you concentrate, a game that opens your mind at critical moments and allows you to hone your strategic abilities by anticipating several steps ahead of your opponent in order to win, and a feature that aids problem-solving abilities. As a result, the BCP Qasimabad Chess Club organized a student chess competition.
The competition was held on the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th of February, featuring participants from middle school, O-level, and A level. The tournament for O level students began on February 22nd. The organizers greeted the attendees and went over the rules of the game with the participants. A total of 12 students participated, with several of them displaying great skills on the whiteboard. Each match became more and more fascinating as we reached the finals between the two best players in this division. Every single game ended in great cheer. Both participants demonstrated their ability on the board but only one of the ten participants in the O level segment was crowned Chess Master.
On February 23, the tournament’s second round, which was for middle school students, was held. With their remarkable notions and judgments, these adolescents astounded their seniors. However, the two finalists exhibited excellent skills, and the tournament had a new champion for this division.
The A level students competed in the final segment which was held on February 24th, As ourĀ A-level masterminds dominated the competition and prepared to play in the finals against one another, this segment quickly heated up. The finals appeared to be a classic battle between two brilliant minds. This hour-long finals match finished in a tie. As a result, we decided to set a timer to determine the winner. And the winner was chosen by the finest player.
At BCP Qasimabad, there are no failures; every student is a champion, and every setback is embraced as a stepping stone to triumph.
