By the time March rolls around, everyone is looking forward to the end of the school year. Still, as school winds down, it can be hard for A2 students to leave their teachers and juniors behind. They are used to the routine, and change does not come easily. Even though this is the day they’ve waited years for, losing contact with people they’ve seen every day throughout their school years can be difficult for students. Farewell provides everyone with a chance to say goodbye and remember the fun times.
As it is now time for the O3 batch to move to their A levels and our A2 students to begin their journey to their desired universities, BCP Qasimabad held a farewell on March 31, 2022, to celebrate this transitioning phase of the students’ lives.
The event began with our hosts breaking the ice and engaging the crowd for a night full of entertainment. Both O levels & A levels prepared various performances of singing & dancing. They won everyone’s hearts by rocking the stage.
The festivities became even more joyful when the outgoing class was given amusing and quirky titles by their juniors, followed by videos of beautiful memories with sentimental significance.
The event then proceeded towards dinner, followed with students posing for photos with their mentors/teachers and peers. The celebration concluded with valedictorian speeches in which the students reminisced about their journey and achievements with BCP Qasimabad.
Throughout our lives we transition from one event to another. Sometimes, that means moving to their dream universities, or job. Sometimes it means moving forward into a new phase of life. No matter what the transition, we must say goodbye to the old before we can say hello to the new. This event at the end of the school year allows both students and teachers to let go of the past and move forward into the future, forever cherishing the beautiful memories they made in school.
