BPPM celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2022. The event included incredible performances prepared by the students according to the theme of International Women’s Day 2022 which was “Women Empowerment”. Catalogue of the entire day activities include: Special Morning Assemble, Inter-House Quiz Competition, Song Dedication, Make Your Mom a Queen and a virtual session with successful women of society who shared their lifetime stories on how they defied the odds to the bricks they have chosen made the difference.
Special Morning Assembly commenced with recitation and translation of the Holy Quran by Irtiza Hassan and Haider from 7-B. Next was a song performance by class 8A followed by the speeches on the achievements of Pakistani women, gender equality and role of women in uplifting the face of society. The highlight of the event was the thoughtful panel discussion that captivated the audience with its insightfulness and profundity. The panelists for the day were Manha Noman, Mohammad Zain, Zarmeen Khan, Ali Kayani. Panel discussion was hosted by Safa Hassan. A thoughtful tableau presentation by grade V students with the theme of “Never Surrender”. Primary school students sang melodious songs that incorporated the gist of the thought behind International Women’s Day. Inter-house Quiz Competition round 2 also went well. Students participated enthusiastically in the Quiz. All the participants and winners were awarded with the certificates. This event was concluded with the cake cutting ceremony by HMI Ms. Saima Faheem accompanied by Aya g Munawar Jan and Nazia.
A special lunch Buffet was arranged for the BPPM Staff in honor of celebrating Women’s Day. Teachers spent a quality time and enjoyed the session thoroughly including interesting games and chitchat.
