The Strength of a Woman

“I would venture to guess that Anon, who wrote so many poems without signing them, was often a woman.” – Virginia Woolf

8th March, declared proudly as “International Women’s day” celebrates the unique and nonpareil strength of women. Its purpose is to recognize the unprecedented achievements of women in different spheres of life.

At Beaconhouse Metropolitan Campus Girls, both students and teachers celebrated the achievements, ideas, passion and work that women bring to the world. Through a variety of activities, they advocated for equality and highlighted the brilliant work that our strong, ambitious, inspiring women do every day. Their writings, illustrations and speeches hailed the efforts of women and showed them just how valuable they are in today’s society.

The essence of this celebration was to teach students the significance of  embracing every aspect of themselves.

On this Women’s Day, we hope for a world without gender bias or discrimination; a world where everyone can live a happy and fulfilled life without limitations.
