Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.” Dan Gable

A school organises many events where students can participate and exhibit their skills. These events also aid the students to discover their hidden talents. It is always an exciting and a  memorable moment for a child to participate in such healthy activities and acquire a sense of belonging and confidence. Moreover, these competitions are meant to furnish a platform, for the students, to find a respite from their taxing academic routine. One such event was arranged by Beaconhouse Metropolitan Campus-Boys Branch, in the form of “Sports Gala”.

The event consisted of different sports such as futsal, fussball, and chess. It offered opportunities to maximum number of children of BMC-B to participate and show their mettle. The Sports Gala proved to be a huge success, and in these unprecedented times each child got a flair of hope. The event offered the true meaning of sports, i.e. to build a culture of collaboration and inculcated the spirit of sportsmanship in students.
