CREATIVE MINDS

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have” – Maya Angelou.

Creativity is the watermark of every human being. The things they invent, the art they make and the methods they devise all represent the thinking patterns and learning capabilities of individuals. Just like a thumbprint, these works are unique to each and every one and therefore highlight the beauty of their mind-sets.

On 13th December, 2021 grade 4 students brought forth their awe-inspiring and admirable artworks. 4 Tulip came up with a magazine, 4 Rose decided on brochures and 4 Lily chose autobiographies as a way to express their charming projects.

Grade 4 Tulip made a magazine which featured interesting articles about ‘Why the Queen of England carries a purse everywhere she goes’, an interesting read indeed, and ‘Why kids shouldn’t watch Squid Game’ which presented a well thought out criticism of such shows. Other works included were jokes, quizzes, advertisements of confectionaries (yum-yum) and puzzles. Truly, food for the mind.

Grade 4 Rose made brochures which brought to light the many advertisement specialists there. Students came up with beguiling and mouth-watering brochures of hotels, cafes and restaurants. So do make sure to drop by at our Fortnite restaurant or give a special shout out to Café Unicorn.

Grade 4 Lily students presented their life stories in the form of beautifully crafted and skilfully written autobiographies. Containing snippets about the exciting things that happened to them, like getting lost in a shopping mall or having a full blown out battle with their siblings, these autobiographies were absolutely a fun read.

After completing my LLB degree I became an English language teacher in Beaconhouse School System. I’ve always had a passion for writing. Back in my school days I took part in many essay competitions. I adore the idea of having a quite work space and write extensive essays and blogs to share my thoughts with the world. I’ve also written articles for the Herald Tribune newspaper. I hope you do enjoy my blogs and that you’ll keep reading them. :)
