The Sports Day is an exciting event which is held every year at Beaconhouse Bahria Enclave Campus. This year, the BSS Annual Sports Day was held on a beautiful March morning and was a tremendous success. In the days leading up to the event, our young athletes diligently practised for the P.E. Display, races and Zumba performances. When the day itself arrived, all of the children smartly dressed in their P.E. uniforms became a perfect sight and a treat to behold.
The students of Grades 3-11 took part in the P.E. Display. Each move was carefully choreographed and was executed to perfection by students following Principal Amna Usman. P.E. display was thoroughly enjoyed by the children and their parents.
There was a combination of different types of races, such as the flat race, relay race, hurdle race and three-legged race, among others. The audience cheered in excitement as students finished neck to neck races against each other.
In between student races, there were extremely well synchronized Zumba performances to raise the audience’s excitement level along with races by the fathers, musical chairs round for the mothers and a teachers race as well.
Principal Amna Usman gave out medals to the first, second and third prize winners for each grade and points were added to the winning houses. On the end of Sports day, she thanked all the parents for attending and highlighted the importance of good sportsmanship and being active. Her words made an impact on our young learners and the audience alike.
