In the month of November, Beaconhouse Bahria Enclave Campus hosted a ‘Mehfil-e-Milad’ to honour and pay reverence to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Students dressed up in elegant outfits; white shalwar kameez with black vests for the boys and colourful ‘dupattas’ for the girls. The stage was gracefully decorated with beige and pink flowers, candles and curtains for the occasion. Apart from students and staff, mothers were also invited to join the event to pay homage to our dear Prophet PBUH.
The Mehfil commenced with the name of Allah, followed by well-rehearsed naat recitations by students from all year groups. It was evident that teachers and their students worked very hard together to make it a successful event. Even students from Early Years took an active part in the Milad and celebrated it with great enthusiasm. In between performances, students recited Durood to remind us of the importance of sending peace and blessings to our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Milad ended beautifully with a heartfelt dua, a special naat recitation by the School Principal and distribution of sweets for the guests.
The event was a great source of inspiration and reminder for all to follow in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet PBUH. His (SAW)’s life is full of lessons for all mankind and human race. Overall it was a well received event and appreciated by all.
