“Sports do not build character, they reveal it.”
Sports in school help prepare students to face the challenges of life. They enhance the physical and mental abilities of students and help them achieve the goals of their life. Today Annual Sports Day was celebrated with full fervor at BKI-PWD.
The event was graced with the presence of the esteemed Mr. Muhammad Ijaz, who is a pioneer of blind archery in Pakistan, co-writer of 15 books of sports sciences, and also received the ‘Best Coaching Award’.
The program started with the recitation of the Quran.
After which our tiny tots of Pre-Nursery, Nursery, energetic students of kg, and enthusiastic students of grade 1 did the marvelous march-past.
After the oath-taking ceremony, the day was declared by our SMI Ma’am Fouzia Janjua.
The Sports Day events commenced and the kids participated in very exciting races. Our little champs also displayed wonderful Zumba, PT display, and Karate performances.
The winners were awarded the medals by our esteemed chief guests.
A very interesting Rassa Kashi (Tug of War) was held between the dedicated teachers of BKI-PWD and mothers. Then it was held between BKI-PWD male staff and fathers.
It was a fun-filled day that all the kids participated in with full enthusiasm and zeal.
