Celebrating Global Dignity Day at BSTRP

Students of BSTRP celebrated Global Dignity Day with vision and respect for universal rights on 20th October,2021. It is a day to promise every individual that you are special and deserve respect with love.

Students of Class I created a Dignity Garden on class 1’s windows and spoke about the perks of dignity during morning assembly.

A wide range of activities were arranged by Grade II.All the students participated enthusiastically in different activities.The students showed dignity towards others . A dignity  train was decorated with dignity quotes and poems.  Speeches were delivered  by the students and a song on respect was presented beautifully in which they focused on how to depict an ideal behaviour. They also shared their real life experiences to provoke others how they can respect all. A goodwill gesture was also shown by Grade II on this special  day by presenting some gifts to the school security guards.

To show dignity and respect to the members of our community, students of  Grade III made beautiful cards with some beautiful quotations written on them. They also planned to give away goodie bags to the support staff to acknowledge their hard work and support they always extend tirelessly.

Students of Class IV celebrated dignity of every living creature and showed respect to mothers and grand parents through role plays . After that, some students presented a dignity song where they showcased their unique traits and how amazing they are in their own ways. Finally, students  arranged ‘Dignity Lunch’ for the support staff to show their love and respect towards them.

Students of Class V celebrated the Global Dignity Day with a pledge to promote the values of kindness, understanding, tolerance, and compassion.

They presented speeches and inspirational quotes highlighting that the dignity of man is an ideal worth fighting for and worth dying for. This activity was a month long during which students beautifully painted the mugs and made cards with a message to foster the self-worth and empathy in youth. Students shared their unique  dignity stories about a person, event or place with a theme “ Many Faces Of Dignity”. To make this day memorable and  remind the students  that the support staff of the school has a right to be treated with dignity and respect too, they wrote a note of thanks for the school’s support staff.
