Early years in Beaconhouse is all about colors, when it comes to studying, we focus on play-based learning and thematic curriculum. To give the concept of primary colors that are red, yellow, and blue, the three sections of Pre-nursery were given their allotted color. Learners of each section brought a toy and a balloon of that color and learned about the primary colors in a different way. After their specific class activity, the three sections were given a chance to interact and learn that the three colors can make other colors. Pre-nursery Daisy was allotted red color, the teacher elaborated the color by displaying objects of red color including watermelon, ladybug, and, apple. Pre-nursery Rose was given the yellow color, the instructor displayed the concept of feelings using smileys and displayed the objects brought by the students. The teacher introduced face painting and gave the students were given bright yellow stars on their smiling faces. Pre-nursery Tulip had blue color for their fun day. The teacher introduced the animals of blue color like dolphins and fish. The students were given blue headbands and played with the balloons. Our respective Senior Mistress, Ms Afshan Mumtaz had an interactive session with all the sections and asked them about their activity. Students enjoyed the activity and had fun with colors.
