Acting, the performing art in which movement, gesture, and intonation are used to realize a fictional character for the stage, provokes emotion, thought, discussion, awareness, or even imagination.
The Arts are such an important part of children’s lives. This encompasses not only dancing and singing, but also acting.
Drama improves a child’s public speaking skill:
Talking and performing in front of audiences will teach a child so many important parts of public speaking, including volume, enunciation and inflection.
Acting increases a teamwork mentality:
When working with a cast, a child is put into a team environment where everyone matters and has a part. This builds a teamwork mentality that can’t even compare to group projects.
Drama improves a child’s confidence, Being on stage is not for the light of heart. You perform in front of strangers. This, in turn, makes your child more confident and able to handle the most embarrassing situations that can arise.
Acting makes a child more physically active, A lot of kids decide at an early age that sports aren’t for them. Performing can be a good alternative to physical activity. Between dance choreography, blocking during rehearsal, building sets or just goofing off with fellow actors, acting definitely gets a child moving.
Performing in plays increases memorization,When learning lines, blocking, cues and lighting actors use a lot of memorization tricks to remember everything. These tricks follow performers throughout their life – helping with studying in school and multitasking at work.
So we are catering to the diverse needs of the students while making them do the fun task. Beaconhouse school system kindergarten branch faisalabad every years arranges an Annual event where the school makes its student face the audience express themselves through Acting. BFKG’s The Acting Troup this year gave class 1 students a platform where each section performed on a movie, and impressed the audience with their JAW DROPPING performances. The teacher of each section worked untiringly hard with its students to make them confident speakers who had memorized their dialogues and were delivering them with perfect intonation. Each section performed for 15 mins on average and the kids showed Oscar winning performance. The audience loved every bit of it, they enjoyed the ambience, the feel, the look, the uniformity of the dresses, the beautiful happy cheering faces of their kids and their happiness after the performance was on cloud 9.
Every school is playing a great role in their child’s life but they way our respectable ma’am Naheed Alamgir brings her ideas to life is totally awe inspiring and phenomenal. May we all progress under her guidance. Ameen
