The true character of a society is being revealed in how it treats its children – Nelson Mandela
Children have the right to give their opinions freely on issues that affect them. Adults should listen and take children seriously. They have the right to share freely with others what they learn, think and feel, by talking, drawing, writing or in any other way unless it harms other people.
Every child deserves the right to their childhood and it’s our duty to preserve their innocence.
Beaconhouse is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all its students. To ensure the welfare of all, Beaconhouse believes that every member of the organisation has a role to play, which is encompassed in our Child Protection Policy. Its purpose is to protect both children and staff by clearly defining what action is required in order to keep children safe, and ensuring a consistency of behavior so that all staff members follow the same process. A Child Protection session was held at BFKG with the teachers regarding the new CPC policies and the wellbeing of students.
