Every women is at risk. One in eight will get it in their lifetime. Every 13 minutes a women dies from breast cancer. It is the leading cancer death ages from 15 to 54, it is 100 times more common in women then in men.
96% survive with early detection. So, knowing it exists is not enough. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
A very informative session regarding Breast Cancer Awareness Session was conducted at BFKG under the activities of GDD. Honorable Guest Speaker Dr. Rafshan Sadiq Clinical Oncologist (HOD in Pinum Oncology Department) graced the session on 10th November and enlightened the mothers and school staff on how to take care of themselves to prevent any serious health issues. House was opened for questions at the end of the session where Dr. Rafshan addressed all the questions and concerns shared with her, offered the solutions and cleared the misconceptions attached to the cause. Parents appreciated the initiative taken by BFKG and acknowledged the efforts of administration.
