Champions are not made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision.
Games and sports have become an integral element of present day education. They teach our youngsters the qualities of discipline, sportsmanship, team spirit and leadership. Walton Campus organized a Sports Week with, “Track and Field Events 2022 “ at Upper Primary with 100% student participation. The event emphasized the theme, “Protecting Our Planet Starts with You.”
                                                      

The program was attended by honorable; Mrs. Parveen Sarwar, wife of Governor Punjab, his Excellency, Chaudhary M. Sarwar, along with Mr Babur Ahmad Khan (Head of the Department for Office of Sports, Wellness and Recreation LUMS) and Mr Bilal Khan (2007- Mr Lahore in Body Building and 9 times National Gold Medalist). Students through their Athlete Walk, P.T. Display; Aerobics and Karate, mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances. The School Choir sang melodious songs and entertained the gathering. There were races for the students of Grades III to V, to display their vigour and athletic talents. Parents also enthusiastically participated in the event; fathers were invited to participate in Tug of the War, whereas mothers ran in the Bean Bag Race. Principal Ms Tehmina Lodhi applauded the efforts of students and teachers. She emphasized that it is the participation that makes all the difference. Later Prize Distribution was held and winners were awarded trophies.Winner parents were given seeds and beautiful pots of different plants to encourage the clean and green environment. All in all, it was a thrilling and a fun filled day for the children and the parents at Walton Campus.
